Security Measures

The FiatRexa protocol places a strong emphasis on security, implementing robust measures to protect user assets and maintain platform integrity. These measures include multi-signature wallets, encryption, regular security audits, and strict access controls. Due to the nature of FiatRexa being a common good protocol; it is imperative that it is transparent and that any individual at any time can perform their own robust audit that accounts for all details. There are no centralized points of failure that would enable fraud like what has historically occurred in corporations, governments, charities, NGOs, trusts, or centralized crypto platforms. We must ensure that we stay ahead of the market in this regard; and that means that a portion of the treasury budget will be spent annually to pay for audits and for on-going security enhancement. Any solutions proposed by anyone to improve security, auditability, or to progress this goal can be presented to the DAO and the DAO members understand their obligation towards this end.

It should be stressed here, that Decentralization is a very effective security centric strategy; however, it is a moving target and what we deem to be decentralized will continue to grow and evolve as new improved methods emerge. It is likely that other projects will begin to gravitate towards protocols inspired by FiatRexa in the future and as some appear to have already. We encourage this behavior and will work to support, as it improves the world for everyone.

Smart Contract Audits

To ensure the safety and reliability of the platform's smart contracts, FiatRexa will undergo regular audits from reputable auditing individuals or firms. This ensures that any potential vulnerabilities are identified and addressed before they can be exploited. If you come across a bug, please submit a bounty proposal and your desired compensation for the DAO to vote on. This can be done through the Discord, the forum, and soon it will primarily be done through the FiatRexa DAO Dashboards that are made available to Contributors.

No smart contract should be published nor integrated until after security audits have been conducted.
